IL RUG sessions provide a coordinated channel for: • Identifying system gaps • Sharing regional experiences • Influencing future Epic development
Deliverable Oriented: These groups are formed with a goal of developing regional recommended standards and workflows. It is highly encouraged that all organizations consider participation and adoption.
Optimization Oriented: These groups are focused on improving existing workflows. Most recommendations will improve internal consumption of data, although some may also improve data exchange
Network and Info Sharing: These groups are focused on sharing information about specific topics, modules, workflows or functionality. It is not anticipated that regional deliverables will be an outcome of any session
In person Events: Some are niche and some are extensive, but these events pull members together to network and share best practices.

This discussion based group will discuss the variety of SDOH workflows and questionnaires in use across trading partners. We will also ask ourselves if there are options that could be standardized or expanded across the regions to support at risk patient populations.
